Visited Boston from Chicago this past Feb. and stumbled into The Toad not knowing what to expect. Jenee Halstead stepped onto stage and we didn't know what to expect. And afterwards we didn't know what to do. The most sentimental version of 'Jolene' we've ever heard. ..Then some Johnny Cash... Then a few of her originals. A refreshingly vintage and sentimental sound. Like I said, we didn't know what to do. Just donated, and can't wait to hear your voice in Chicago via CD. Best of luck to you.
